Thank you. I looked for the organic sunblock at Whole Foods and checked the active ingredients to compare to Banana Boat. The active ingredients in a lot of the so called Organic or Natural sunblock is the same. I am thinking I should look for something with mostly zinc oxide instead of the oxybenzone and other stuff in it. Is this correct? And no wonder my fair skinned daughter hardly burns, she eats mostly veggies with all those antioxidants and I don’t and I burn….
haha!!! So funny that you started the video like this… My friend and I actually got sunburned because we didnt use sunscreen out of fear of cancer. But we dont blame you!!! ;)
I do have a question… what about lotion? I use Vaseline intensive care lotion and if I put that on to go out in the sun, will it cause the same effects? What do you recommend for lotion? Just coconut oil?
Thanks!!
I’ve had good luck spraying vinegar on my skin after a shower. It really helps with the sting.
Also tea works really well. Put tea bags in your bath tub or pour cool tea on your skin. Rub the tea bags on your face!
I definitely use the coconut oil, too, and love it I don’t burn and my skin has a nice glow.
Instead of using spearmint oil, can I use tea tree oil?
